This website describes how Paligan works and publishes our thinking on private markets. It is provided for information only, and nothing on it is an offer or a solicitation to buy or sell any security or other financial instrument.
Nothing on this website is investment, legal or tax advice either. Any participation in an investment arranged by Paligan is offered privately and is governed solely by the documentation for that investment.
Who this website is for
The information on this website is intended solely for professional and institutional clients within the meaning of Articles 4 and 5 of the Swiss Financial Services Act (FinSA). Private individuals qualify only if they have declared in writing that they wish to be treated as professional clients, and we classify every client before they can take part in an investment.

Investments arranged by Paligan are offered privately to a limited number of professional clients and are not public offers. No prospectus or key information document is prepared for them unless the law requires one, and the terms of each investment are set out solely in its own documentation.
Risks and conflicts of interest
Investments in early-stage companies carry a high risk, including the total loss of the capital invested. They are illiquid, often for many years, and there is usually no market on which to sell them. Holdings can be diluted in later financing rounds, and because each SPV holds a single company, there is no diversification within it. Investments in a currency other than the investor's own also carry currency risk.
Figures shown on this website, including those in the portal demonstrations, are illustrative and fictional. They are no indication of the past or future results of any investment.
Paligan earns fees on the investments it arranges and invests its own money alongside co-investors in every deal. Fees, and any share of them paid to deal partners or introducers, are set out in the documentation for each investment.
Regulatory status
Weiss Group GmbH is not licensed or supervised by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). It does not provide financial services that require authorisation under Swiss law, it does not accept deposits from the public, and it does not manage third-party assets on a discretionary basis.
